Kola Akomolede & Co was registered in 1987 and
started operations in 1999, when our principal partner, Chief Kola
Akomolede, left Government Service. It is therefore a very young
firm in terms of age of the firm itself. However, our Principal
Partner is a very seasoned Estate Surveyor and Valuer with over
25 years experience which covers all aspects of the profession.
Our Head Office is strategically located at Kofo
Abayomi Street Victoria Island, Lagos, which provides easy access
to most of our valuable clients, who reside and work in the high
brow Ikoyi, Victoria Island and the business centres of Lagos Island.
Our offices are fully equipped with modern communication facilities
and internet connection.
We have a branch office located on the Lagos mainland
at Opic Plaza, which covers our services outside the Lagos metropolis
and the southern area of the country. This office is also fully
equipped with the latest communication technology including internet
connection.
Our Abuja branch is located along Herbert Macualay
Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja which serves the Federal Capital Territory
and the northern parts of the country. This office is also fully
up to date with modern communication facilities.
Staff
Chief Akomolede is a fellow of the Nigerian Institution for Estate Surveyors and
Valuers. He holds a BSc in Estate Management with Second Class
Upper Honours from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo
University), Ile-Ife (1978). He also attended the University of
Reading UK, where he obtained a Masters degree in Urban Land Appraisal
in 1983. He is a member of the Rating and Valuation Association
of England and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
His over 25 years experience in the profession both in the public and private
sectors of the economy has adequately prepared him to take on
any job of any magnitute anywhere in the world. He is widely travelled,
and is frequently invited to give papers at National and International
Conferences. He has been the National Publicity Secretary of the
Nigerian institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers as well the
Secretary General of the association of Housing and Corporation
of Nigeria.
He is a member of Island Club Lagos, Rotary Club of Ikoyi and Ikoyi Club 1938,
where he has been the premises Adviser twice.
Miss Chika Ugwoke - A graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka where she obtained a BSc in Estate Management in 1994 and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Edo State University Ekpoma. She is a registered member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. She is well experienced having worked with 2 companies previously before joining the firm.
Miss Adenike Ogunjimi - A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University where she also obtained a BSc in Estate Management in 1997. She is the resident Surveyor/Manager for the Opic Plaza, Ikeja Lagos
Mr Adegboyega Sadiq - A graduate of Obafemi University where he obtained a BSc in Estate Management. He has had 5 years working experience in the profession during which he had worked with 2 companies and the Estate and Valuation department in the defunct Ibadan Municipal Government before joing Kola Akomolede & Co.
Mr Remi Adelekan - Is also a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, and an associate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He had at various times worked with the Ministry of Works & Housing at different capacities in 2 states. He is well experienced in the profession having worked with 3 companies before joing Kola Akomolede & Associates
Mr Tunji Gbokoyi - An experience builder also of the Maintenance Department holds an Higher National Diploma (HND) in building from the Yaba College of Technology Lagos in 1991
Arch. Sola Akinkugbe - holds the Higher National Diploma in Architecture which he obtained from the Ondo State Polytechnic Owo.
Mr Ayanrinde Ayanleye - holds the Ordinary Diploma (OND) in Estate Management from the Ibadan Polytechnic (1991). He has had over 12 years experience in the profession and has attented several seminars and courses which has adequately equipped him for his present position.
